A team works when its cards, positions, equipment and Charms support the same plan.
Quick answer
  • Cabpod pairs with Wishly and Ruffen; Tonkey with Sago and Cabpod; Washette with Hydo and Goldie.
  • Each pair gives you a simple focus: space, movement or card timing.
  • Use the pair that matches the cards and positions your run is already offering.

Cabpod: mobility and protection

Cabpod is a mobile tank that pairs with Wishly and Ruffen. Fire Trap, Burning Omen, and Solarflare Trap suggest a useful job: make space and give its partners time to set up.

A synergy is more than two names: cards and support pieces must cooperate.

Grid access decides whether a planned combo is usable on a real turn.

Tonkey: movement and trick-based turns

Tonkey thrives on movement and flashy tricks. Its pairings are Sago and Cabpod; sample skills include Gatling Punch, 360 Ollie, and Parkour Retreat. Evaluate movement cards and grid access together, not in isolation.

Washette: card manipulation

Washette washes away unwanted material and returns it refreshed. Its pairings are Hydo and Goldie; sample skills include Hydro Clone, Tactical Flush, and Quick Draw. Hydro Clone can copy an ally's hand card for zero AP, which makes card timing and partner selection central to the pairing.

How to test a synergy honestly

  • Write down the two or three cards that make the pair work.
  • Check whether the pair still functions when either creature is under pressure or out of position.
  • Compare it against a simple alternative team on the same difficulty.
  • Keep notes by game version: balance changes can alter individual cards without making the whole idea disappear.
